- Buying trading cards (Magic, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, etc.) & going to a local store to play against fellow nerds

But it's important to remember—the same large amount of energy poured into a retail deal that you’ll end up splitting the commission with your brokerage (who won’t do nearly enough work to justify the split)—you could invest that energy, time, effort, & resources into a deal using an alternative profit strategy dealing with investors where you’ll get to keep 100% of your profits (& be able to generate higher profits based on your negotiation & structuring skills).
Also, with that investor, it's highly likely you’ll be able to close multiple deals per year with just that one relationship. Unlike retail where each buyer only buys once every 5-10 years & each seller only sells once every 5-10 years—both of which will likely use a completely different agent.
